In the third installment of our Halo Award series, we talk to Burlington Stores and AdoptAClassroom.org (AAC) about their $1.5 million partnership for teachers. Shockingly, more than 51% of America’s public school students are living below the poverty line and can’t afford to buy basic school supplies required each year. To compensate, teachers are spending an average of $600 out of their own pockets to help prevent their students from falling behind. Burlington Stores and AAC joined forces to fight this great big wrong in our education system.
Their “Team Up to Support Teachers” campaign featured Oscar winner Common and won a Halo Award for Best Education Campaign at the 2018 Engage for Good Conference.
